OUR WORK IN ACTION:
We Belong Here
Belonging Compact
Launched in 2022, the Belonging Compact is the result of years of community outreach, belonging gatherings and one-on-one conversations. It is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to publicly commit to partnering with us to achieve our community-backed vision for belonging.
Communities of Belonging
Communities of Belonging is a framework that helps communities, ranging from small campuses to counties, to discover the factors that encourage or inhibit belonging. Civic Commons’ approach:
Building a community of leaders.
Surveying the population.
Analyzing areas of opportunity.
Providing tactical and strategic consultations to address the findings.

The Belonging Gathering
This Seattle-based summit features a combination of experiential learning, facilitated dialogue, collective art and storytelling activities. The Belonging Gathering encourages attendees to explore their own experiences with belonging and learn from the experiences of others.
